Review: The Mandalorian, "Chapter 19: The Convert" | Season 3, Episode 3

As I watched “The Convert” today, a couple thoughts were rattling through my brain, thankfully because I have not recently been subject to a Mind Flayer.1 First, I was thinking about how Jon Favreau said during the press junket for the new season of The Mandalorian that the show could run basically forever. Second, I was thinking about how some of you commented during the premiere episode how odd it was to shift from watching Andor — a thorny, complex, and mature drama set amidst the world of Star Wars without really feeling like a traditional Star Wars story — to this much more straightforward, action-heavy, rarely complex adventure.
