I appreciate reading my own concerns/excitement about the series phrased so eloquently here, Myles. The show has earned some trust with its direction and performances and terrific high concept, but there's a fragility to that last bit that still makes me wonder if they can hold the whole thing together; it feels a bit like LOST in the early going, only LOST always had a simple, direct conflict to fall back on, while everything in SEVERANCE has to be made in the moment. I watched the whole season in a rush at a difficult time in my life, and I'm still grateful to have found it at a time when I needed the distraction. Fingers crossed they can manage to make all this hold together for season 2. (I've seen some advance word that they do, which has me extremely excited.)
