The Reba 4 fight to reach the end of [what they think is] The Best Game They Ever Played
This is the second straight season where an original tribal alliance has survived until the late stages of the game, and it’s an interesting contrast. Last season, the Tika Three were notable in that they were constantly shifting allegiances on individual votes, but never truly wavered from their support of one another. They survived by being flexible, and by trusting that when push came to shove they’d be together until they no longer had a choice (see: firemaking).
By comparison, the Reba Four have been so together that there wasn’t anything interesting about their march to the game’s end. There were moments where they could have sold the rest of the merged tribe on a split in their ranks, but they never emerged amidst numerous unanimous boots, creating a situation where they were almost too together to keep themselves from fracturing before the Tika Three did.
