That title is honestly extremely alarming if you don't have context, huh?
When the newly merged Beka tribe arrives at their first actual individual immunity challenge, it feels like it’s happening way too soon in the episode. I was admittedly running around a bit with the episode on, once it became clear that the conversations were exactly the genre you’d expect: Andy using Sol’s information about Gata’s betrayal to plan their demise is the kind of distinct blend of emotion and strategy we’ve come to expect from a volatile player, while Tiyana explores the age-old conflict of choosing between tribe loyalty and the allure of Teeny’s all-female alliance dream. But before those stories can even start, we’re at an immunity challenge? It doesn’t smell right.
And stink it does, because after finally delivering a proper “everyone votes” pre-merge, we’re back to the arbitrary swaths of immunity we’ve come to expect of the New Era at 12, with only half the tribe going to tribal council.
