Review: Survivor, "I'm Felicia" | Season 44, Episode 4
Okay, I know I was asking for a tribe swap, but this...wasn't what I had in mind
It’s not exactly “general” knowledge that Survivor seasons film back-to-back, but it’s definitely become common knowledge among the people who read about the show online. And it’s been especially true as Survivor’s “Monster” era—as I’ve been referring to it—has dramatically expanded the amount of experimentation happening in the game each season. As twists have played out, two important facts have been clearer than ever: viewer feedback isn’t able to be taken into account between fall and spring seasons, and the players in spring seasons have no idea what happened in the fall.
To a certain extent, this has insulated Survivor against some criticism, since there’s often been a full year before we can fully judge how the game is adapting to viewer response to major changes.
