Review: Survivor, "Hidden in Plain Sight" | Season 43, Episode 11
A much-loved challenge, a compelling result, and...well, Tribal also happens
It says something about Season 43 that I forgot to watch this episode last night. Admittedly, I had just finished three hours of meetings, and never checked my TiVo for recordings. But I notably didn’t see any discussion on Twitter, and that is less a reflection of the episode itself and more the momentum the show was carrying into it. We are past the point where a Survivor season is going to be naturally buzzworthy—as someone who doesn’t follow a huge amount of Survivor-focused accounts, a season really has to gain traction to break through in a significant way, and this has not been that season.
“Hidden in Plain Sight,” though, is a mostly excellent episode of Survivor, which is why I’m sad I wasn’t able to start this conversation last night.
