Review: Survivor, "Episode Several" | Season 46, Episode 7
Two votes lead to two chances to test the secret alliance's control over the split tribe
We may be rid of Bhanu’s particularly insufferable brand of incompetence, but this season of Survivor is still haunted by his memory.
In the opening scenes of the charmingly titled “Episode Several,” we pick up a narrative thread left dangling at the end of last week’s tribal council: in the “Previously On” segment, we get a reminder that Charlie was the one member of the now-merged Nuinui tribe who didn’t vote for Moriah, instead choosing to vote for Venus. He reveals in his confessional (which we didn’t see last week) that it was because he heard she had put forward the idea of voting him out, which isn’t the worst reason to target someone in a given moment.
But when the tribe returns, Venus doesn’t know this, and she’s immediately convinced that it could only be her nemesis Soda. Never one to back down from an opportunity to be aggressive as hell, she accuses Soda of being the vote, sending them off to the water well to hash out their “never been to tribal to hash it out” bad energy.…
