Okay, I hadn't watched this when I edited it, but this really WAS a banger, even if I wish I could have been on set to teach Jaquon how heavy a computer was supposed to be before he lifted that empty box off the cart. SMH.

As someone who just lost their long time pet this August I was fully on board with Melissa absconding with Sweet Cheeks. Especially once she invested the time and energy in the habitat upgrades. (My only real issue is that Guinea Pigs should not be solitary and the two 2nd grade class pets should actually be cohabitating - no wonder Janine is getting bit. But I was getting some fond nostalgia for Hop Jump, our class bunny from 4th grade.)
I like the idea of replacing the Will-They-Wont-They of Janine and Gregory with the more antagonistic chemistry of Ava and O'Shon. It doubles down on cementing that Janine and Gregory are fine on a logistical level as colleagues (thank you HR) and get to have their relationship grow without arbitrary obstacles. Instead O'Shon being tied into Abbott shenanigans and clearly being a match for Ava has all kinds of possibilities. And it is a legitimate uphill path after we have previously seen that Ava really does have that swag with some of her other relationships.
